CONTEXT
Void was a free monthly magazine covering lifestyle, sports, music, fashion, and art. It launched in Porto Alegre in 2004, and from 2009 onwards, it was distributed in the cities of Florianópolis, Curitiba, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Belo Horizonte.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Project challenge: handling the editorial design, layout, and final artwork. A total of 24 issues were produced between 2009 and 2011.
CONCEPT
The inspiration was a blend of skate, surf, music, and internet culture, expressed through an avant-garde style that captured the most transgressive elements of the youth culture of the time. That marked the beginning of over 100 subsequent editions, bringing together diverse works by inventive young people from across Brazil.
