CONTEXT
With the Brand Manual, Gerdau’s communications have gained a more modern expression and greater flexibility in application. In addition to the new visual concept, new colors have been added to the palettes, the photographic style has been refined, and there is examples of best practices and pitfalls to avoid. The goal is to provide resources and guidelines that create possibilities rather than restrictions.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
After the Brand Book was created, it was necessary to adapt it for the digital environment to expand its reach among suppliers and service providers, integrating it into Gerdau’s mindset and communications to make it a source of inspiration and a constant reference.
COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
As part of our benchmarking and research, we analyzed brand guideline sites and design systems from brands such as Uber, Claro, IBM, Google, Apple, and others across various sectors.
STYLEGUIDE
For the platform’s style guide, it was necessary to adapt certain aspects of the brand book to create the digital asset library.
CONCEPT
The idea behind the concept was to try to maintain the same visual style as the brand book, within the limits of interactivity.
RESULTS
Increased suppliers ease of access to the brand by 30%.
Generated over 1,200 monthly logins.
Client recognition led to subsequent projects.
