Medplex is a comprehensive health center encompassing all healthcare fields: medicine, dentistry, psychology, pharmacy, nursing, biomedicine, nutrition, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, psychopedagogy, and occupational therapy. Located in Porto Alegre, RS, it is situated near the country’s largest and best hospitals. Built to the highest architectural standards by Cyrela, it features extensive facilities capable of accommodating top-tier healthcare operations.

CONTEXT
The development is a healthcare complex of excellence featuring meeting rooms, a gourmet terrace, and a gym to serve the professionals working on-site. It offers spaces suitable for medical offices, laboratories, clinics, and other related activities. The complex comprises commercial units and medical suites ranging from 30 m² to 370 m² of private area. It boasts comprehensive, high-quality infrastructure, including an auditorium, foyer and kitchenette, three meeting rooms, a coffee lounge with a terrace, and fitness and Pilates areas.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The challenge: to create the company’s logo and visual identity, guided by the concept of “world-class healthcare.” This required delving into the world of medicine while incorporating modern design references.
COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
As part of our benchmarking and research work, we analyzed the medical sector, using the identities of Brazilian hospitals and healthcare centers as a reference.
CONCEPT
The proposed design sought to combine the concepts of engineering and medicine, representing this fusion through a semi-slab typeface set within a frame of varying thicknesses that symbolizes protection. The predominant colors white, gray, and turquoise, create a clean aesthetic associated with cleanliness and hygiene, encompassing the concepts of safety and health.
